I am the owner and manager of Naísciol Chloch na gCoillte. I am in this job because I love each and every child that pass through our door.  I want to help them progress.  I want to provide an educational day through fun and play for them on a daily basis.  I enjoy their personalities, their innocent outlooks, their zest for knowledge, their sense of adventure and humour, the list goes on.

I am fully qualified.  I feel it is important to up-skill and hence I have completed a number of various different relevant courses including:-

​I love being surrounded by my little Scallywags which I grow to love over their time spent with us.  I am passionate about my job, which I thoroughly enjoy and I do my utmost to ensure children progress and develop their knowledge and understanding in a fun and stimulating environment.  I feel strongly about maintaining a fun, positive, friendly relationship with staff to create a warm, welcoming, happy environment for us all.  I strive to ensure that all children have the best education, care and love that can be provided. I strongly believe that a healthy, friendly, welcoming, approachable relationship with parents is of extreme importance. I also like to ensure that my continued professional development is maintained.

Mel is hugely popular with both children, parents and staff.  She has a great, positive attitude towards work and life.  She is very respectful, she is a quick learner and she is great fun.  She is an excellent team player, but also works superbly on her own initiative.  Mel continually possesses a cheerful and positive personality.  She is the salt of the earth and nothing is ever a bother to her.  She has a fantastic mannerism with whomever she engages with, she is always in great form and loves to joke and sing.  She has a fantastic way with the children.  It is a pleasure to work alongside Mel.
